This is a loose guide showing event times for seniors.

10:30am Leave school (*weather permitting)
11.00am Arrive at course/ Orientation
From 11.20am Senior races beginning. Year 3s races after year 4s- APPROXIMATELY 12pm.

(we cannot guarantee these times as we may move through quicker or later depending on weather and other variables)
If the weather is unpredictable, the seniors will stay at school and continue with their races as per the timetable. A call will be made early that day and if cancelled a txt will be sent out.

Please ensure that your child has all the appropriate gear i.e. shoes, warm clothes & a change of clothes, plenty of lunch and a bottle of water.

Also we are looking for some volunteers to marshal around the track. If you are able to offer your support please contact your child's classroom teacher. Otherwise you are most welcome to come along to cheer us on. Hopefully see you there.

Mikaela's creative poppy.

Look what Mikaela wore today! She wore her poppy that she made in class for art. Great work Mikaela for making a spare poppy to wear.

We can't wait to see all our poppy art on the wall next week. Everyone enjoyed learning about why we have ANZAC day this week.

Visit from an expert

Michael, Rebecca's dad shared his knowledge to us this morning about ANZAC.
Michael's grandad fought in the war. He shared a poem, medals, maps, graphs, and a book with us. In his book he had an original poppy from flounders field. What a treasure!
Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with us Michael.

We will start with a brainstorm of what we already know. Together we will form questions which we wish to investigate.
